More free AC: Brotherhood DLC coming
New multiplayer mode, map detailed.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is to get a second batch of DLC in January, publisher Ubisoft has confirmed.
The Animus Project 2.0 update will add Chest Capture Multiplayer Mode, which pretty much does what it says on the tin. You'll be running around trying to either steal or protect boxes of loot from various other greedy assassin types.
There'll be a new multiplayer map added too, set in the Italian hill-top town of Pienza.
Like the Animus Project 1.0 pack, which is out today, it won't cost you a dime.
Just to jog your memory, the Animus Project 1.0 pack adds a new game mode, Advanced Alliance, as well as an additional multiplayer map.
The new mode is essentially a tougher version of the the game's Alliance Mode, tweaking target identification and engagement to put more emphasis on stealth tactics.
The new map, on the other hand, sees you stalking the streets of Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy. Ubisoft insists that, "Its particular topography of narrow streets, high-perched bell-tower and multi-leveled architecture is perfect for hunters and predators alike to surge from out of nowhere to execute their prey."

The rather fabulous Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood crept out of the shadows and pilfered a perfect 10/10 from Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell back in November.
