Forthcoming THQ strategy expansion Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution is getting a swag-packed special edition.
Now surely boasting the longest game name of all time, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution: Collector's Edition gives you access to all available bonus wargear for each of the six playable races in the game, an exclusive poster, six race art cards and a high-quality collector's box.
The set is currently available for pre-order through the THQ store priced £39.99, in advance of the game's 4th March release date.
THQ is also making individual race packs available with pre-orders of the standard version of the game. Apparently you'll get four unique ability and Wargear items that can be used to enhance the single player campaign. That will set you back a more modest £29.99.
The Ork Race Pack is exclusive through Steam, while the Tyranid Race Pack is THQ.com only. The Space Marine, Chaos Space Marine, Eldar and newly announced Imperial Guard race packs are available from either, as well as other online stores.
The original Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II skirmished its way to a very respectable 8/10 back in 2009.
