Minor PS3 firmware update released

Sony has updated the PlayStation 3 firmware to version 3.66.

There's not much to this particular update – just the promise that "system stability during use of PS3 format software and network services has been improved".

The update doesn't appear to be optional, judging by the response on Sony's blog, although we haven't confirmed that ourselves. Maybe that can be a fun project for when you get home?
