Fanatec Forza 4 wheel detailed, priced

High-spec add-on going for €249.

Pre-orders have kicked off for Fanatec's officially-branded Forza Motorsport CSR Wheel.

You can put your name down now at the manufacturer's online store for a mere €249.95.

Built in partnership with Microsoft and the game's developer Turn 10, the aluminium wheel sports an Alcantara grip, force feedback via a Mabuchi RS550 Motor, 90 to 900° of rotation, a silent belt drive and high resolution sensors deliver for added steering accuracy.

It also packs an LED display for tweaking the turning angle, force feedback, vibration and sensitivity, with up to five presets offered.

What's more, it's also compatible with the PC and PlayStation 3.

In addition, Fanatec is also readying a CSR Elite Pedal set (€149.95) and Shifter set (€59.95).

Forza 4 fans after a wheel peripheral have plenty of options come the game's launch next month. As well as Fanatec's effort, Microsoft has its own, more modestly priced, peripheral, while Ferrari is also getting in on the action.
