UK Top 40: FIFA Street boots Mass Effect 3 off top spot
Twisted Metal turns up 12th, Yakuza fails to chart.
Jumpers for goalposts footy game FIFA Street has kicked Mass Effect 3 off the top spot in the UK's all-format chart. It scored the best launch week for any FIFA Street game to date.
BioWare space opera Mass Effect 3 found itself in second place, ahead of SSX and FIFA 12, meaning the top four games were all EA-published titles.
Other new entries fared less well. PlayStation 3-exclusive car combat game Twisted Metal debuted in 12th place.
Zombie-infested Yakuza: Dead Souls failed to rise from its grave at all. It was nowhere to be found in the all-formats chart, or the PS3-exclusive top 20.
Mario Party 9, Mario & Sonic: London Olympics, Rage, Zumba, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Call of Duty also scored a top ten placing.
