Assassin's Creed 3 multiplayer lets you turn invisible
New abilities and perks detailed!
A new ability in Assassin's Creed 3's multiplayer mode will allow characters to become invisible for a short time.
The "Glimmer" skill is one of many new player abilities included in the revamped multiplayer offering. Its translucent effect will increase as players sneak around, but fade if you begin to run.
Players will also be able to choose ten perks that last the whole mission. Blender, for instance, copies your character's appearance onto an NPC when standing in a crowd, making you harder to spot. Meanwhile, the Unstoppable perk will let your player charge through crowds with no slow-down.
Once seen as a rather unnecessary add-on, this year's helping of Assassin's Creed multiplayer appears more robust than ever.
One of the best new additions looks to be the co-operative Wolf Pack mode, which will allow teams of players to take down an NPC together.
