BioWare calls for your feedback as it embarks on “entirely new” Mass Effect game
“What do you want to see in it?”
BioWare has called for fan feedback as it begins work on the next Mass Effect game.
Series boss Casey Hudson took to Twitter to reveal he and his team were now working on yet another Mass Effect game and asked fans for their input.
“We're in early stages of designing a completely new Mass Effect game,” he said. “What would you want to see in it?”
Here are some responses lifted from Twitter:
“Default femshep" - Khakionion
“More scope to define character through dialogue choices. ME3 felt like a big step back in that regard with much autodialogue” - George Ankers
“Playable races ala Dragon Age 1. I'd love to play as a Female Turian” - Amanda Cosmos
“The Prothean - Reaper war!!!!!” - M van Hylckama Vlieg
“I'd love it to be set after Mass Effect 3, not a prequel! A look at humanity's continued integration to galactic civilization?” - Miracle Of Sound
This isn't the first time we've heard of a new Mass Effect. When BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk announced their departure from EA in September 2012 BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn confirmed the Mass Effect team were working on a new game in the science fiction space opera.
"Executive Producer Casey Hudson and his team are coming off an amazing eight-year run with the Mass Effect trilogy,” he wrote in a blog post. “But they're not done yet. We are releasing more multiplayer content and we have more single-player stories coming throughout the next six months, including Omega which is coming in the Fall.
“But the Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey and our teams have plans for another full game."
