Microsoft has launched the web version of Xbox Music, its music streaming service. It came out on Xbox 360 in October 2012.

If you're already an Xbox Music Pass subscriber (£9 a month) you can access the web player from music.xbox.com, which scales to your browser size. If you're not an Xbox Music Pass subscriber, you can snag 30 days free access, but remember the trial will automatically upgrade to a paid monthly subscription if you don't cancel before it ends.

Xbox Music syncs to Windows devices, including Windows Phones and of course the Xbox 360, so if you make a playlist change it'll show up across your gadgets.

Xbox Music isn't yet available on iOS or Android devices, but Microsoft hasn't ruled out such a move. The official list of supported platforms is Windows 8 and Windows RT tablets and PC, Windows Phone, and Xbox 360.
