The Last of Us is first title of 2013 to hold top spot for four consecutive weeks
We're not having a giraffe.
The Last of Us has done what BioShock Infinite and Tomb Raider couldn't: Naughty Dog's exceptional adventure has scored four weeks atop the UK all-format games chart.
Dead Island: Riptide and BioShock Infinite each won three weeks in pole position earlier this year, while Tomb Raider managed two. And, crucially, The Last of Us is a platform exclusive. Congratulations all round.
The only new release this week is 3DS-exclusive fighting RPG Project X Zone, which features Namco, Capcom and Sega characters. It turned up in 18th place.
The rest of the UK top 10 was largely unchanged from last week. The retail version of Minecraft was second, ahead of FIFA 13 in third and Animal Crossing: New Leaf in fourth.
Assassin's Creed 3 was fifth, while Tomb Raider, Black Ops 2, The Sims 3: Island Paradise, Deadpool and Far Cry 3 rounded out the rest of the top flight.
