Ubisoft confirms Tom Clancy's The Division for PC

Xbox One exclusive content announced, companion gaming detailed.

Ubisoft Massive has announced that next-gen online shooter Tom Clancy's The Division will be available on PC as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The PC version was confirmed this morning by the game's executive producer Fredrik Rundqvist on YouTube.

"Since E3 we've been carefully listening to what's been said on the internet. We've read your posts and discussions, and I can't enough stress how important it has been for us to feel your support and commitment to the game.

"One of the most frequently-discussed topics has been about releasing The Division on PC... You can be certain we will provide you with a first-rate PC experience."

Other details announced today included the fact that Xbox One would get some form of exclusive content - exactly what was not mentioned - and a few new tidbits on the game's second screen experience.

Through an attached tablet or smartphone players will be able to interact with players in real-time in the main game. This we knew, but new footage below shows more detail, revealing how tablet players can send buffs, highlight enemies and send in airstrikes.
