GTA Online adds Last Team Standing update
Multiplayer mode no longer available on 12GB PS3s.
Today's new Grand Theft Auto Online patch includes a wealth of new content surrounding the game's Last Team Standing mode, Rockstar has detailed.
Last Team Standing is GTA's regular deathmatch mode where players are limited to just one life. Die and you won't respawn - you'll just have to sit out the rest of the match.
Rockstar has now added 10 new LTS jobs and added the mode to GTA Online's mission creator, so you can now make up your own events and share them with others.
You can also now tweak the Creator's settings to choose the number of rounds a match has, and to force weapons of various types (ie. sniper rifles only).
In a new post on Rockstar's official blog, the developer also detailed a sprinkling of fresh weapons and two new bikes - the Heavy Shotgun and Marksman Rife, plus the Shitzu Hakuchou and LCC Innovation.
All GTA5 players will be prompted to download the new content when they next boot the game.
This is the first update that will make GTA Online unavailable for anyone playing via 12GB PlayStation 3 consoles. Rockstar previously warned that the game's install size now requires more space than this to load. The GTA5 single-player campaign will remain accessible, however, if you play while keeping your console offline.
