Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has been delayed one week for “polishing work and gameplay optimisation," Capcom has announced.

A weekly series originally slated to begin on 17th February, the episodic Resi sequel is now scheduled to debut its first episode on 25th February on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Steam, and PS4/PS3 in Europe. North Americans will receive the PlayStation version one day earlier on 14th February.

Episodes 2-4 will follow on a weekly basis, so they'll be out on 4th, 11th, and 18th March in Europe.

The full retail release containing the whole game will launch on 20th March in Europe and 18th March in North America. This comprehensive package will also include two additional spin-off episodes focusing on new characters Moira Burton and Natalia Korda, along with new additional Raid Mode character Hunk.

Each episode will cost £4.99 / $5.99, while the whole season can be purchased for £19.99 / $24.99.
