Sony has removed the nipples of a female character for the Japanese version of PlayStation 4-exclusive The Order: 1886.
A brief glimpse of a penis has also been covered up. The male character in question has been given a pair of long johns instead.
Japanese gamers published bizarre screenshots of The Order showing a topless woman with her breasts exposed but without any nipples (thanks, Kotaku).
The Order: 1886 has been available in Japan for some time, but the level of censorship evident in its Japanese version has only recently come to light.

Embedded below, it shows how a brothel scene with a topless woman and an entirely nude man was altered for Japanese audiences.
The woman is now only shown from the shoulders up, while the man now wears clothes.
