Heroes Reborn mini-series gets two video game prequels
One on console/PC, the other on mobile.
The superhero TV show Heroes will be getting two video game spin-offs.
Set as prequels to the upcoming 13-episode TV mini-series, Heroes Reborn, the two titles will feature stories overseen by the show's creator, Tim Kring.
Heroes Reborn: Gemini is a first-person adventure coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will star a 20-year-old woman named Cassandra who has time travel and telekinetic powers.
Heroes Reborn: Enigma will be a first-person action puzzler affair for iOS and Android devices starring Cassandra's 14-year-old sister Dahlia. According to IGN, Dahlia will appear in the Heroes Reborn mini-series, which will be the biggest direct link the games and TV show will have with one another.
Both titles are being developed by Phosphor Games, the studio behind such mobile titles as the fantasy adventure Horn and the survival horror game The Dark Meadow.
The Heroes Reborn mini-series will begin airing 24th September on NBC.
