In Metal Gear Solid 5, stealth doesn't always mean silent
You remind me of my Jeep.
Careful, measured footsteps, sticking to the shadows and keeping a watchful eye out for guard patrols - that's one method for stealth. In Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, there's also another that's not quite so subtle.
A recently uploaded YouTube video shows one of the most bizarre stealth runs, with a jeep, some smoke grenades and an awful lot of courage combining for an epic S-Rank in the campaign's fifth mission. Before you start wondering whether it's a glitch or not, I'm pretty sure it's legit - I once saw a run-down Vauxhall Cavalier attempting a stealth run along the M40 using similar tactics.
Metal Gear Solid 5 might have its problems, but it's still quite easily one of the games of the year, as Rich Stanton's review attests. It's not quite over yet, either - Metal Gear Online is launching on October 6th.
