Dying Light's next DLC is so big Techland is raising the price
Two weeks warning until Season Pass price is hiked, too.
Dying Light's The Following DLC has grown so big the developer will now charge extra for it.
The Following is large enough that it could be released as a standalone game, Techland said in a statement issued this afternoon.
But doing so would mean a delay in getting the new content on sale. So it is staying as a DLC - albeit one that is now more expensive.
The UK price has risen to £15.99 - the previous price of the game's Season Pass. Previously, the DLC was announced with a US price of $14.99, equivalent to £9.99.
Dying Light's Season Pass is now being raised to £23.99 as a result, up from £15.99.
However, the price changes will not be applied until 8th December - meaning there's still two weeks to nab the Season Pass at its old price.
And if you have the season pass, the DLC is free - so no worries if you have bought it already.
Techland is yet to nail down a final release date for the DLC, though it mentioned today that it is now in the "polishing period". The add-on is coming soon then, hopefully.
