Destiny 2 expansion art points to Osiris, Rasputin add-ons

Truth.

Artwork for Destiny 2's first two expansions point to them centring around two big parts of the series' lore - Osiris and Rasputin.

The artwork is available to view on Destiny 2's Xbox.com store page, when viewing the game's special edition. This edition includes a pass for both expansions - and it is this pass which fans think has identified what the expansions will be about.

Osiris' symbol - the black eye on a yellow background - points to the mysterious character whose followers hold the Trials of Osiris multiplayer tournament.

Osiris himself is a reclusive Warlock who lives on Mercury and who has a wealth of lore about him despite never being seen in the first game. At one point, before Destiny 1's story was rebooted, he was to play a larger role. Perhaps we'll finally meet him now?

Rasputin's symbol, or to be specific the symbol of Destiny's Warmind AI, is the black winged diamond.

Rasputin and other Warminds were AI creations meant to defend humanity from the Darkness. Rasputin has been the focus of several missions in the original Destiny, although fans with a knowledge of the franchise's lore will know there have been extended hints that Rasputin has become something else.
