Nintendo Switch's most-downloaded game in 2017 was Stardew Valley
We're sow impressed.
Stardew Valley was the most-downloaded Nintendo Switch game over the whole of last year - despite only releasing in October.
The indie farming success beat Minecraft into second place - although in Nintendo's homeland of Japan, Minecraft was top.
It shows the success of a game which originally launched almost two years ago on PC, and had also been released for Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
And yet, it's not too surprising - as a gentle, Harvest Moon-like farming game which boasts hundreds of hours of gameplay, it seems a perfect fit for a Nintendo platform, and a portable device.
Sonic Mania was third on the most-downloaded list, followed by Rocket League, Snipperclips and Overcooked. Shovel Knight, Fast RMX, Kamiko and Steamworld Dig 2 filled out the rest of the list.
Over in Japan, Overcooked made the list in sixth place, alongside various NeoGeo game ports and a Senran Kagura spin-off.
