Dead Space 2 coming to PC after all
Ishimura the merrier.
It turns out that Visceral Games is making a PC version of Dead Space 2 after all.
"Dead Space PC lovers can relax! Dead Space 2 is officially coming to PC," according to the game's official Twitter account.
Things were looking ropey there for a while, with EA stating in February that, "As of right now a PC SKU is not in the plan."
That stance appeared to soften 24 hours later though, with a spokesperson telling Eurogamer: "A PC SKU is under consideration. Nothing additional at this time."
The game is already confirmed for PS3 and Xbox 360 and should be released in the first three months of 2011.
The original Dead Space saw players exploring the spooky Ishimura as engineer Isaac Clarke, cutting up reanimated fools with various bits of industrial machinery.
The sequel sees Clarke escape the Ishimura and make his way to a space station called the Sprawl. Unsurprisingly, the necromorph infection follows and everything gets a bit messed up.
We've also heard that the game will feature multiplayer.
Look out for an in-depth Dead Space 2 preview in, ooh, roughly 24 hours. In the meantime check out the teaser trailer below.
