Everything you need to know about the Cubed Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 is titled Cubed and is themed around one very special purple cube.

As usual, the Battle Pass skins are a combination of original designs and characters from across pop culture - allowing you to both embrace the weirdness of Fortnite design and occasionally play as Carnage.

This season you can collect the likes of the demon hunter Charlotte, IO agent Kor, unicorn man Fabio Sparklemane, Torin who has a connection to the Cube and Carnage from the Marvel universe.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 Battle Pass skins, including Charlotte, Kor, Fabio Sparklemane, Torin and Carnage

By completing the Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass, you'll be able to add Charlotte, Kor, Fabio Sparklemane, Torin and Carnage to your collection.

Like the previous season, the skins are now divided across a number of Battle Pass pages and are unlocked by either claiming a specific number of rewards or reaching a certain level in the Battle Pass. After unlocking a page, you can earn the skin or skin variant by earning Battle Stars to unlock each of the rewards on this page, which, in turn, will allow you to purchase said skin.

To unlock the base skin for Torin, for example, you need to have either reached Level 70 or unlocked 61 rewards from the Battle Pass to first unlock her page. You then need to earn all of the other rewards on this page to unlock the ability to purchase her skin.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 Battle Pass costs and Battle Pass rewards list

As with every Fortnite season, the majority of the Chapter 2 Season 8 rewards require Battle Pass ownership to be unlocked. If you want to collect everything, then you either purchase the Battle Pass or a Fortnite Crew - the monthly Fortnite subscription service - membership.

The Battle Pass is a premium item and costs 950 V-Buck. You can buy a bundle of 1,000 V-Bucks for around £6.47 / $8.57 or earn V-Bucks in game from completing various stages in the Battle Pass.

A Fortnite Crew subscription will include Battle Pass as part of the cost or you purchase a certain amount of the Battle Pass using V-Bucks.

Season 8 continues the new Battle Pass format started in Season 7 by having the rewards divided across a number of pages, which are unlocked by either reaching a specific level or unlocking a certain number of rewards. After unlocking a page, you'll be able to earn any of the rewards on it in any order you like - you can even skip items you don't like!

The items themselves are unlocked by collecting Battle Stars which are earned by levelling up the Battle Pass or by purchasing them from the Fortnite in-game store. Each reward requires a specific number of Battle Stars, so you need to spend wisely to ensure you get all the rewards which catch your eye.

It's also important to note that you need to obtain all of the items on a specific page to unlock the ability to purchase its associated skin; you may find yourself budgeting your Battle Stars because of this!

Both the Battle Pass challenges and rewards can be completed or earned at your pleasure during Season 8, but, remember, your progress will reset at the beginning of the next seasons when a new collection of rewards will be introduced.
