Sam and Max site launches
The game's out next year.
Telltale Games has launched a website to promote the new Sam & Max game that's currently in development.
It features a concept pic of the daring duo and some answers to some FAQs, along with a link to the new S&M message board.
Probably the best news for fans of the classic point and click adventure is that series creator Steve Purcell will be working closely with the development team: "Sam & Max are very near and dear to Steve, so he will be very involved in the projects," the website states.
"Although he has a 'real' job Steve feels a deep moral obligation to see to it that only the highest quality Sam & Max crap be dispersed into society in an effort to confuse and alarm our most impressionable young citizens."
It doesn't sound like the game will be based on the Sam & Max title LucasArts was working on before the plug was pulled in March of last year, either: "Cancelled Sam & Max Freelance Police game? What cancelled Sam & Max Freelance Police game?"
The website also reveals that the game will be out next year, in episodic form. Can't wait.
