Report: MS to "shake up" Xbox division
Management changes very soon, says WSJ.
Microsoft plans to "shake up the management" of its Entertainment & Devices division - of which the Xbox business is one part - according to a report.
The Wall Street Journal reported that changes may be made "as early as this week", and will be "broader" than the rumoured departure of chief experience officer and chief technology officer J Allard.
The report didn't attribute the claim about a management shake-up to anybody, and included no quotes from Microsoft or elsewhere, just a recap of the current state of things within E&D - i.e. pretty rosy for Xbox and a bit crap for phones.
Microsoft declined to comment on the J Allard rumours last week.
