Wii Fit Plus storms Japanese chart
Gran Turismo PSP off the pace.
Wii Fit Plus springs to the top of the Japanese software chart this week by shifting a considerable 340,000 copies, according to Media Create data.
DS newcomer Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha - Fire/Blizzard - the football RPG - follows at two with 281,000 sales, ahead of Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver with a combined 267,000 sales at three.
Gran Turismo PSP manages only fourth with 134,000 sales, and fellow debutant Macross Ultimate Frontier (PSP) makes fifth with 81,000 sales.
Other new entries include Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 at seven with 42,000 sales and Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce at nine with 27,000 sales. All are a long, long way behind the frontronners.
The DS still leads the region with 63,954 units sold, although this week the PSP is hot in pursuit with 51,215 units sold.
PS3 and Wii are almost neck-and-neck with 37,538 and 35,392 sales respectively, while Xbox 360 and PS2 linger leagues below with 4244 and 2179 sales.
