20-player Dota 2 is as chaotic as you'd expect

Valve's ongoing Dota 2 tournament threw up a surprise last night: a 20-player match.
Normally, the multiplayer online battle arena game sees two teams of five battle it out, but from next week custom game modes made in Dota 2 Reborn will support up to 24 players.
Valve revealed the upgrade at The International tournament, and in the video below you can see professional players have some fun with it in a 20-player All-Star match. As you'd expect, it's pretty chaotic - but looks like a lot of fun.
Dota 2 and its many heroes aren't balanced for 10 versus 10 matches, of course, but the match offers a glimpse at what the new and improved version of the massively popular MOBA, which is powered by Valve's new Source 2 engine, can do.
While we're on the subject of Dota 2, The International concludes tomorrow. CDEC play EG in the upper bracket final. VG play the winner of LGD versus VP in the lower bracket final. The winner of those two finals play in the grand final match for the incredible $6,481,567 first prize.
