2K promises patches for the disastrous WWE 2K20 as the glitch clips continue
Tombstone.
2K has finally piped up about the disastrous launch of WWE 2K20, promising patches are on the way.
The wrestling video game launched on 22nd October and went viral on social media for its nightmarish - and hilarious - glitches. #FixWWE2K20 ended up trending on Twitter in the US.
Publisher 2K remained silent (and failed to respond to Eurogamer's request for comment) until late on Friday, 25th October, when a statement was issued on the WWE Games Twitter account.
In the statement, 2K said a patch for WWE 2K20 should be out within the next two weeks, with more to come.
"We are listening closely to the feedback that's been shared regarding WWE 2K20 and are aware of the concerns some players are reporting," reads the statement. "We're working hard to investigate these concerns and address them as necessary. We expect to have an initial patch ready in the next two weeks, with others to follow. Stay tuned WWEGames social media channels for more information."
Since WWE 2K20 first blew up, more glitch clips have emerged showing just how badly things can go wrong with the game. Here's a snippet:

WWE 2K20 is in such a sorry state that the developers have quite the job on to turn it around. Whether sentiment, which is already deep in the negative, can be swayed remains to be seen.
