360 gets more Xbox-compatible
More golden oldies work.
Microsoft has updated the number of original Xbox games compatible with the Xbox 360, in what must have been a boring weekend.
The lengthy list now stretches over 400 games long, and has lots of baseball and basketball and football and racing titles to enjoy. Usefully for you, though, we went through and picked out selection from the freshly added bunch.
Here they are:
- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (US only for now)
- A Bard's Tale
- Burnout 2
- Freedom Fighters (US only for now)
- Indiana Jones And The Emperor's Tomb
- Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
- Star Wars Jedi Starfighter
- Worms 3D
Scintillating stuff - just you try and not be excited. Those of you barely able to contain yourselves should shoot over to the official site for the entire list. Note that only the US list has been updated so far.
Microsoft also recently announced it would be selling old Xbox classics on Live Marketplace for 1200 Points (GBP 10.20 / EUR 13.96). Among the gems are scorchers like Psychonauts, Halo, Crimson Skies and Fable.
