Alien Isolation dev hiring for "another multiplatform AAA blockbuster"

Is it sequel time?

Creative Assembly's console team - the one behind last year's well-received Alien Isolation - is hiring for a new game.

Italian website z-giochi (via VideoGamer.com) spotted a few job postings on the Creative Assembly website that relate to the console team.

One calls for an online/multiplayer programmer. Here's what it says:

"We are creating another multiplatform AAA blockbuster and the successful applicant will be part of a team which allows our game experience to be shared."

Experience of development on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC is desirable.

There are a raft of open positions on Creative Assembly's console team. The question is, has Creative Assembly been given the green light to work on a sequel to Alien Isolation, a different type of Alien game perhaps, or is it working on something else?

“Sega and Creative Assembly have a policy of not commenting on the development of unannounced projects within its portfolio," a spokesperson told Eurogamer.

If Creative Assembly is working on a sequel to Alien Isolation, the mention of a team that "allows our game experience to be shared" could indicate plans for multiplayer of some kind. Maybe co-op?

In January 2015, Creative Assembly revealed Alien Isolation had sold 1m copies. The news came a little over three months after the game's 7th October 2014 launch.

Elsewhere, it's busy times for Creative Assembly, which is working on a a Warhammer-themed Total War game, Total War: Arena, and Total War Battles: Kingdom.
