How to get a froggy chair in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
First of all, make sure to have downloaded the 2.0 update to your Nintendo Switch in order to be up to date. (You know this will be the case when Isabelle discusses ordances when you first log into your island.)
Then, before you storm into the game looking for froggy chair everywhere, know that since the froggy chair is technically just a regular item of furniture, there is no guaranteed way to find one, and instead you must rely on having it being sold or gifted to you.
This means you can get a froggy chair in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by:
- Purchasing from Nook's Cranny or Redd when it is in stock
- Found passing in a balloon (it's possible to farm balloons by entering a building to have a conversation with a villager, then leaving before the clock reaches a minute that ends with "4" or "9", such as 2:44 and 2:49.)
- Found from shaking a tree (you are guaranteed two random items per day)
- Received as a gift from a villager
Ultimately, all you need is a spot of luck. Players are already out there finding them - whether it's on sale at Redd's...
...or found from a balloon...
So it's just a case of patience. Another option, of course, is to trade or receive one from another player, if they are willing to give it up.
