Warhawk will get another free patch on 27th August, adding all sorts of features such as Trophies, training tutorials, paint jobs, and more, Sony has announced - confirming previous reports.

First is custom in-game music, which will automatically disable the Warhawk music when used, according to game director Dylan Jobe on the US PlayStation blog.

Trophies, all 56 of them, are next. That number includes booster packs, and some will be awarded retroactively for various server-side statistics.

Jobe is introducing training tutorials to ease new players into the community, with three lessons to learn and a Trophy awaiting their completion. The best of the trio is "Flight Practice", apparently, which can be replayed over and over until you can do a 4G inverted dive like Maverick.

European-designed paint jobs and insignias are on their way in update v1.5; Jobe selected 20 of the best paint-jobs and 50 of the top insignias for inclusion from the recent design competition.

GGL competition entrants from a while ago will be gifted a ceremonial blade for their participation, while the winning clan will get one-off blades to whack people with.

Finally, in another effort to help newcomers, Jobe and team are colour-coding rookie servers, which will also appear top of the list if you are eligible for them. Clan invites should be retractable now, too, to stop people procrastinating for eternity or for those no longer welcome.

Jobe concluded with the hint of a Booster Pack announcement later this month at the Leipzig Games Convention.
