Arcade sticks should now work with Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Xbox One
But new patch fails to fix DLC transfer issues.
Arcade sticks should now work with the Xbox One version of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
The Koei Tecmo-published fighting game launched last month with a number of issues, including a lack of compatibility with arcade sticks such as Mad Catz's Xbox One Tournament Edition 2 Arcade Fight Stick.
Overnight, developer Team Ninja issued patch 1.01A for the Xbox One version of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round it's due out for Xbox 360 soon) that means arcade sticks now work with the game.
It also fixes a bug that crashes the game when playing the tutorial in French, Italian, German or Spanish, and a bug that was corrupting save data. You should see fewer crashes while searching for opponents in ranked, lobby and throwdowns, too.
However, the patch has failed to fix a downloadable content transfer issue that has affected those upgrading to Last Round from the previous generation version.
Team Ninja said it was aware of the problem and is working with Microsoft on a fix. The patch 1.01A patch notes are available on the Team Ninja website.
Elsewhere, patch 1.02 for the PlayStation 3 and PS4 versions of the game is being sent to Sony as we speak and with any luck should be out soon.
