CPL - future tournament details

has announced that it will now be holding two more events this year in Dallas, both at the excellent Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Dallas, which hosted their recent Razer-CPL event.

The first of the two events will be "The Frag 4" from October 26th-29th, with space for 400 players and their computers, and playing host to a $30,000 teamplay tournament and the finals of this year's Female Frag Fest competition. The second will be the "Babbages CPL tournament" from December 14th-17th, with $100,000 in prizes up for grabs, a 512 player one-on-one tournament, and room for up to 800 players to attend.

The CPL has also announced that their main event next year will be titled the "CPL Worldwide Championships". As we previously revealed, this will be the CPL's first big international teamplay tournament, with national teams from a number of countries around the world competing for $150,000 in prizes.
