Dutch publisher Project Three has revealed that New World Order, the highly anticipated counter-terrorist first person shooter from Swedish dev Termite Games, went gold last weekend. Project Three points to a mid-November release date in Europe, with other territories to follow shortly after.

New World Order tells the tale of a Global Assault Team out to bring down a worrying terrorist syndicate puzzlingly known as The Syndicate. Lone wolf single player missions are matched by a CS-style team-based multiplayer offering with five different modes for LAN or online gamers.

"We have been in crunch mode for the last couple of months to make this game stand out and fulfil its promise," says Termite Games' Jim Malmros. "I believe we have accomplished what we set out to do and I can't wait to find out what kind of impact New World Order will make in the (online) gaming community."
