Damn. We were quite looking forward to a couple of new units for MechAssault, and seeing how the age-old tradition of Capture The Flag translated to the mechy world of Day 1 Studios' third person shooter, but it doesn't look like we will any time soon. Microsoft has helpfully announced that the promised free downloadable content will not appear on Xbox Live "in January". Yes, we spotted that. What's perhaps more upsetting though is that no new release date has been confirmed. We are of course assured that as soon as a decision is made we will be informed. Pfft.
