Hercules goes hardcore

Hardware manufacturer Hercules is jumping on the ATI RADEON 9800 PRO-powered graphics board bandwagon by introducing their latest model, the Prophet 9800 Pro, the marketing for which does not include gratuitous and completely unnecessary use of capital letters, thankfully.

Aimed at the hardcore gamer, and including a copy of Raven Shield in the bundle as an apparent attempt to prove it, Hercules has developed a set of custom capabilities for the board and stuck 128MB of DDR RAM on it. The board is specifically designed to take full advantage of DirectX 9 features, which at least future-proofs it for a while until someone else comes along with a piece of silicon that wipes the floor with it in a couple of months or something.
