David Hayter pooh-poohs Solid Snake's flat arse
Butt…
Nintendo appears to have pulled Solid Snake's arse from Smash Bros. - and the person behind Snake's iconic voice isn't happy.
At E3 Nintendo did a deep (very deep) dive on the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch, and touched on each and every character announced at the show.
In doing so, Nintendo showed footage of Snake in action - and his flat butt.
It didn't take long for fans to pick up on Snake's new look - and compare it to his previous iteration in Brawl for Wii. (Nintendo has yet to say whether it will patch up Snake's arse.)
And now, David Hayter, the voice actor behind Solid Snake, has noticed as well - and he thinks the whole thing stinks.
"Oh," he tweeted. "There's a whole host of reasons why it's important."
"#FreeSnakesButt"
#FreeSnakesButt has yet to trend on Twitter, but there are a few tweets out there I thought were funny.
Why is Snake's flat arse news? Well, it's not, really. Rather, it's just odd it was changed. But I suspect Smash development chief Masahiro Sakurai will be asked about Snake's butt more than once the next time he's put forward for interviews. You know how anal Nintendo fans can be.
