Spray and pray.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has sprays and in-match emotes.
Perhaps inspired by the Overwatch playbook, Treyarch has added a raft of sprays and emotes you can trigger from a wheel of options. Gestures, as they're called in the game, see the camera pull back from first-person to third-person so you can see your character do their thing. Gestures seen so far include unstoppable, bravo, good job and fist-bump. Sprays, or tags, work as they do in other multiplayer first-person shooter games.

The revelation has certainly set the cat amongst the pigeons in the vociferous Call of Duty community, and there's already concern about potential "emote peeking". This is the idea players may use emotes to see around corners and spot enemies coming.
Meanwhile, with the launch of Black Ops 4 fast approaching, Treyarch has answered a number of questions about the game and revealed some new features.
The developer confirmed Blackout, the battle royale mode, will launch with an 88 player cap for solos and duos, and a 100 player cap for quad (thanks, Charlie Intel).
Also revealed are some new characters coming to the game. Shadow Man, who fans of zombies will know, is the first of four characters exclusive to the Blackout Pass. He looks like this:
There are a raft of other characters to unlock as you play, too, including Mason, Reznov and Woods.
Black Ops 4 comes out at midnight tonight - although shops are selling it early in response to the game's massive 50GB day one update.
