Now you can unlock Bayek in Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Siwa you did there.
Assassin's Creed Origins hero Bayek is now unlockable in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
Just like with Odyssey's other legacy character - Syndicate's Evie Fry - you can nab Orange's Bayek via the Ubisoft Club app. He'll then appear as a legendary lieutenant for you to recruit, have serve on your ship and call upon in battle.
In previous games you've always been able to wear the costumes of other Assassins from the series - but with the arrival of Odyssey's RPG mechanics and gear sets, this has become harder to implement. I'm still holding out hope for a full set of Renaissance robes down the line, though.
Also new is (finally) the arrival of Ubisoft's weekly legendary mercenary and ship bounties. After the non-appearance of last week's legendary mercenary due to technical difficulties, The Black Wind ship is here to hunt down and blow to smithereens. Simply pick up the bounty, find the boat in the ocean and beat it to earn some lovely new sails and in-game premium currency Orichalcum.
