Assassin's Creed Odyssey adds first free DLC story
Greece your palms.
The enormous Assassin's Creed Odyssey gets even bigger this week with the launch of the game's first free story quest.
Odyssey's Lost Tales of Greece are a series of missions coming to the game for free at regular intervals. The first, titled "The Show Must Go On", will be available to play as soon as you nab Odyssey's patch 1.0.6, which arrives on all platforms today. The download weighs in at 4.1GB on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and 3.6GB on PC.
Ubisoft plans to release these free DLC stories interspersed between chapters of its two big season pass story arcs. Seven free tales are on the way, to keep you busy with more story missions for the foreseeable future.
Today's patch also brings various other improvements to the game - an option to auto craft arrows when you run out, a detailed character stat sheet to analyse your build, buffed rewards for climbing the mercenary ladder, and best of all, a "horse sound when equipping horse skins".
Beware that the full patch notes include story spoilers.
