Grid Autosport speeds onto Nintendo Switch in 2019
TOCA while.
Grid Autosport launches on Nintendo Switch in 2019.
The Switch version of Codemasters' 2014 racing simulator is developed by Feral Interactive, which handled the Mac, iPhone and iPad versions.
Here's the official blurb:
"Grid Autosport challenges players to become pro-racers, mastering motorsport's most exciting cars on the world's most thrilling circuits, from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to the city streets of Barcelona. With customisable difficulty and a range of driving disciplines, Grid Autosport delivers an irresistible mix of realistic handling and high-speed thrills."
Our resident racing expert Martin Robinson reviewed Grid Autosport and gave it 7/10.
"Grid Autosport is a fine racing game, though it's never a thoroughbred one," Martin wrote. "It's the muscle car that was Grid 2 stripped out and retooled for the track, but too often you can see the solder-work at the seams. In 2008, Race Driver: Grid was a partial reinvention of the racing genre, equipped with a handful of fresh ideas. Six years on, Grid Autosport - while a definite return to form for Codemasters - is simply a rediscovery of it."
