Divinity: Original Sin 2 is getting gift bags
They aren't loot boxes.
There are free treats coming to Divinity: Original Sin 2 in the shape of 'gift bags'.
These are not to be mistaken for loot boxes, developer Larian pointed out, "which are hard, ostensibly containing loot". "Gift bags are soft and contain gifts."
Each gift bag will cost nothing and be dropped into the game "periodically" on all three platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Gift bag one arrives today, plop!, and targets character creation. Inside are new faces (that's creepy), hairstyles and facial features.
Gift bag two, not yet dated, will target the modding community.
All the other gift bags are under wraps - literally, I suppose. They are being created in conjunction with two smallish (70-person) Polish studios: Fool's Theory and Anshar Studios.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is bloomin' marvellous, in case you didn't know. It dazzled PC back in September 2017, then sashayed onto consoles, as an enhanced Definitive Edition, in August last year.
