CTR cheats, just like CTR itself, are back. The Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled remaster has them too - albeit with only about half of the original cheats still working - so below we've laid out all the CTR cheats for both Nitro-Fueled and the original, detailing which ones work and which don't after we've tested them.

How to enter cheats and disable cheats in CTR: Nitro-Fueled
Entering and disabling cheats in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled works largely the same as it did in the original CTR, only with an added layer of clarity.
How to enter cheats in CTR: Nitro-Fueled
- Go to the main menu, where you have the options to select Adventure Mode, Arcade, and so on.
- Hold the two top shoulder buttons on your controller (that's L1 + R1 on PS4, LB and RB on Xbox One and L and R on Switch).
- While holding those two buttons, enter the cheat as it appears in our list below.
- If successful, you'll get a Cheat Activated notification confirming the cheat's been activated on-screen.
How to disable cheats in CTR: Nitro-Fueled:
- After activating a cheat, select Adventure Mode from the main menu.
- You'll see a pop-up notificaton titled "Deactivate Cheats" as you do so. Select Continue.
- The cheat is deactivated - simply press back to go back to the main menu to enter more or go back to whatever you were doing as normal.
Just a couple of other things to note before diving into our full CTR cheat code lists: in our testing it seemed that only one cheat could be activated at a time - entering two in a row would only give the notification for the first - and there was also one cheat that it wasn't possible to deactivate: Penta Penguin.
Unlock that little critter as a driver and it stays unlocked - the only way we could get back to a state where Penta Penguin wasn't available after entering the cheat was to load up CTR: Nitro-Fueled on another console where we hadn't downloaded our cloud save, so it was essentially a completely fresh game.
