Plus, The King of Fighters 15 in development.
SNK used the Evo fighting game tournament to announce a raft of DLC characters for Samurai Shodown - and confirm The King of Fighters 15 is in development.
All we have on The King of Fighters 15 is a logo. There's no release window or platforms for now, but we expect the game to come out at some point in 2020.
As for Samurai Shodown, a new DLC character will come out each month for the rest of 2019, starting with Rimururu, who will be available from 7th August. October's character is Basara, November's is Kazuki Kazama, and December's is Wan-Fu. Shizumaru Hisame will be released as a free DLC character for all players in September.
2020 will see a second season of DLC characters, starting with Mina Makijina, who topped a Dengeki Online poll.
Martin Robinson penned our Samurai Shodown review and enjoyed it very much. "SNK's iconic series makes its return in this reboot that's short on features but rich in systems," he said.
