Death Stranding Order 3: Cremation - President's Body solution and how to reach the Incinerator location explained
How to return from the Episode 1 mission in one piece.
Death Stranding Order 3 - Cremation: President's Body is a delivery with a difference - having you take a body to the local incinerator.
It's also the first 'open' mission you'll complete in the game, and gives you a chance to try out some of the many tools you'll have at your disposal.
Though, as you'll find with many missions, there's multiple ways to tackle this, here's a route we'd recommend taking to complete it safely - including the end encounter against the BTs.

How to start Order 3 - Cremation: President's Body
This mission is made difficult with the body strapped to your back. As you go, you need to press and hold L2 or R2 as instructed on screen to keep steady.
Instead, you should just hold both together at all times, which is easier and quicker than having to look at which side you need to balance.
Create a waypoint to the cremation centre to the south-west and make your way out of the city.
Just as you leave, you'll pass a Watchtower on the right. Use this to look down the route you've made to spot a ladder down the river, and create a waypoint there.
Make your way to the ladder and cross it - you don't need to press any buttons, just slowly walk across.
From here, keep the river to your left, and continue west.
How to reach the Incinerator in Order 3
You'll pass another ladder across the river, but ignore it, and continue going up until you reach a short cliff face.
Here you'll find a rope you can climb. If you have trouble finding it, tap R1 to use your scanner.
You'll have to climb another ladder as you continue up the cliff - use the Square button prompt to get onto it, then move up - but from there you can reach the top unaided.
When you reach the Incinerator facility, walk around the right to find an entrance, and just inside, a terminal.
Use the terminal for a cutscene.

How to safely leave the Incinerator
To avoid the BTs as you leave, crouch as prompted and slowly move out and along the outside of the Incinerator.
You'll also be prompted to hold your breath to avoid detection. Do this when the footsteps march around you, but don't let your stamina run too low - doing so will see you give out a big gasp and risk giving away your position.
When it has moved away, slowly move round the site and back along the route you came (if a little lost, keep the pipe on your left as you head down the cliff).
Once you are away from the Incinerator, it's now a simple case of following the same route you came, down the ladders and across the wetlands to the base.
Remember, once the rain eases off, the risk of BTs appearing disappears - meaning you can enjoy the view and take your time in getting back.
With this mission complete, it's time to take on Episode 2.
