Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has an amazing Order 66 Easter egg
"Do it."
In Jedi: Fallen Order, you can hear one of the most infamous lines in Star Wars history, but not where you'd expect.
A single line uttered by a deformed Ian McDiarmid was a death sentence to hundreds of Jedi (and children too!). As the video below details, if you attempt to enter the doorway through which Cal's companion Prauf disappears 66 times, you'll hear the infamous "execute Order 66" line from Chancellor Palpatine.
The Easter egg was first discovered and posted to YouTube by user xGarbett, around the time the game launched, but has only caught the internet's attention now.
This scenario takes place right at the very beginning of Jedi: Fallen Order. Protagonist Cal Kestis is hallucinating at this point, so it makes sense he'd hear this line completely out of nowhere. Interestingly, Cal actually hears this line later in the game first hand, when he has a flashback to training under Jedi Master Jaro Tapal.
Who the hell decided to try entering a doorway 66 times? Regardless, it's a lovely, if unsettling, callback to one of the darker moments in Star Wars history.
