Capcom pulls Resident Evil Resistance open beta on Steam and PS4
Xbox One version unaffected.
Capcom has pulled the Resident Evil Resistance open beta on Steam and PlayStation 4 over technical issues that prevented players from finding games,
"We're working to resolve the issue as soon as we can and will keep you updated," Capcom said in a tweet. "Apologies for the inconvenience."
The Xbox One version of the open beta remains online.
The open beta kicked off at 7am UK time yesterday, 27th March, on PS4 and it didn't take long before users struggled with matchmaking. Capcom acknowledged this in a tweet published just before 10am UK time, then, at 2pm it announced it had pulled the beta offline.
At the time of publication, the open beta is still available to download from the PlayStation Store - it just doesn't work. The open beta on Steam was scheduled to launch at 5pm UK time yesterday but didn't make it to launch.
Resident Evil Resistance, included with the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake, is a 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe, where four survivors face-off against a Mastermind. Check Martin's feature on Resident Evil Resistance for more.
