Pokémon Smile is an AR game designed to get kids brushing their teeth
Wisdom saving throw.
Today's Pokémon Presents broadcast included the reveal of Pokémon Smile, an augmented reality smartphone app which encourages kids to brush their teeth.
You (or your child, of course) get an AR Pokémon hat while you brush, and instructions to brush different parts of your mouth to "rescue Pokémon from cavity-causing bacteria". You can then catch the Pokémon you save, and added to your Pokédex.
Photos you take can be decorated with Pokémon stickers, and you can set a reminder for someone to brush their teeth at a particular time.
Pokémon Smile is available today from the iPhone App Store and Google Play. Small print in the game's trailer states: "this app is not intended to prevent or treat cavities, nor does it guarantee that players will gain a liking for toothbrushing or make it a habit."
