A pair of SteelSeries Arctis headsets are on sale at Amazon UK
The Arctis 5 and SteelSeries Arctis Pro with GameDAC both reduced.
A pair of SteelSeries gaming headsets are currently on sale over at Amazon UK - with both the mid-range Arctis 5 and high-end Arctis Pro at some of their lowest prices in months.
Let's start with the cheaper of the two: the SteelSeries Arctis 5 Gaming Headset is now £79.99.
This wired headset sits between the manufacturer's basic yet capable Arctis 3 and the wireless, feature-rich Arctis 7. Being stuck in the middle it borrows bits-and-pieces from both its siblings. Notably, there's the DTS surround sound support, a ClearCast microphone and mandatory RGB illumination.
With this price cut, it's put within the same range as the Arctis 3, so if you've been after a new PC or PS4 headset then you may as well jump up to this version. For something with universal support across more consoles, the Arctis 1 Wireless might be a better bet.
Meanwhile, if you've got a bigger budget, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro with GameDAC is reduced to £184.99.
In Digital Foundry's roundup of the best gaming headsets, they rate it as the best premium option, thanks to the addition of that digital to analogue converter. The Arctis Pro provides excellent sound quality whether you're blasting out game audio or music - and it's all easily adjustable on the built-in graphical equaliser and mixer.
It's an expensive but high-quality piece of kit, then. This latest discount brings it down from £250 to its lowest price since May, where it was just a little lower at £180. Still a solid saving.
Aside from the headsets, another SteelSeries peripheral is also on sale. The SteelSeries Sensei Ten gaming mouse is £39.99. The saving is a big one, as this discount brings it down from the usual price of £60.
Taking a look at Digital Foundry's recommendations for the best gaming mouse, they currently suggest the manufacturers SteelSeries Rival 3 as a solid budget choice. However, the Sensei Ten is clearly a more premium option. It sports a much higher 18,000 CPI Truemove Pro Optical Sensor and eight programmable buttons.

There's no end date given for these prices, but it looks like the first wave of stock for the Arctis 5 has already gone. Best not to wait around too long, then, if you've been eyeing one of these for some time.
