A strange UFO has appeared in the skies of Apex Legends

And no, we don't mean Ultra Fast Octane.

While many Apex Legends players have been engrossed in the shooter's latest time-limited event, Shadow Royale, others have noticed something unusual in the skies above both King's Canyon and World's Edge - a UFO.

As spotted by Apex dataminer Shrugtal - who also revealed last week that an Arenas Mode might be on the way to Respawn's battle royale - it looks as though the unusual ship might have something to do with the imminent arrival of Season 7 and all-new Legend, Horizon.

It also looks suspiciously similar to the Legacy of a Thief artwork. Here, take a peek:

Respawn Entertainment's free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex Legends will be making its way to Steam on 4th November, which coincides with the arrival of Season 7. Switch owners eagerly awaiting the game's arrival, however, will unfortunately need to wait a little longer, with the developer now confirming a delay on Nintendo's platform.

In related news, in the patch notes for Aftermarket - the latest Apex Legends update - explained that the dev team had been struggling to nerf Wraith for some time, and previous changes to her abilities had not been enough to balance the character. As a result, Wraith now has a new set of sprint animations, which are designed to make her stand more upright and "expose a larger area of her body to gunfire".
