Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on PC quietly adds PS5 DualSense adaptive triggers support
Cool under pressure.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War now supports the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller's adaptive triggers on PC.
Players noticed the support this week alongside the release of the Season Four Reloaded update. It was not mentioned in Treyarch's patch notes.
Redditor Joslatt1 took to the Black Ops Cold War subreddit to report the new support, which other players have subsequently confirmed. There's even a toggle in the menu for 'trigger haptics'.
PC now recognises PS5 Controllers and includes the Haptic Feedback Feature! from r/blackopscoldwar
The video below, from someone on YouTube called Paulo, shows off the tech, which allows you to feel force and tension with the squeeze of the trigger:
It's worth noting the trigger haptics currently only work when the DualSense controller is connected to your PC via a cable - not wirelessly via Bluetooth.
DualSense support is a welcome addition to Black Ops Cold War on PC, and follows similar updates to the likes of Metro Exodus and Assassin's Creed. Valhalla.
