C&C Red Alert for iPhone this month

EA will release an iPhone/iPod Touch version of Command & Conquer: Red Alert this month.

It looks remarkably good; units are stylised, vivid and easily distinguishable, and the action can be zoomed out of or zoomed in on with a pinch. The camera can be dragged around, and multiple units can be bossed around with your forefinger.

Many of the classic Red Alert units return, such as Tanya, but there are also new units like the Paladin Tank and Kirov Airships to spice things up.

There doesn't appear to be any multiplayer, just 12 "combat levels" to wade through. There's no word on price yet, either.
